Contrary to the prevalent notion, the myth becomes the tale as I demonstrate their error and debunk the malevolent expectations around my life. For me, life is like a camera. A mental picture continuously captures what I see and how it pertains to me in the outside world. These images helped me develop my artistic persona, and I’m glad to accept the paintings. Translating these paintings into symphonic waves inspired by a tree notion that symbolizes the force of nature and how it nurtures life, a tree grows from a seed.
As a metaphor for unfolding my genealogical story, I see myself as a seed with sprouted roots, trunk, branches, stems, and leaves along the way. My ancestors’ folklore is the seed, and the roots are the stories my forefathers told in a sonic expression to inspire and entertain. As the stems consume from the roots, giving life to the leaves, it is similar to how my craft feeds on the instruments’ frequencies to produce music. In time, my melodies will fade away as the leaves do. I aim to inspire a new learning curve before all the leaves have wilted in the forthcoming seasons.
Moreover, budding artists need to remember Newton’s Third Law of Motion, which states that every action has an equal and opposite response. Therefore, their production reciprocates with the kind of music they create. It is from this art cycle that the next artist, leading to a new generation, gets activated; therefore, signature hybrid styles emerge, differentiating the latest artists from the former. I hope that others who see this work will move forward to advance the art form and commence a musical journey with heightened ambitions.

Biography
PhD Myth, born Mohammad Keshta, spent parts of his childhood in Texas, New York, Dubai, and California. He began his passion for music during lunch break in a Lower Manhattan high school in between classes his freshman year. He witnessed many students creating beats banging on tables while freestyle rapping. However, it wasn’t until his junior year at a Texas high school that this passion became a career move. At this time, he was hanging out at the local professional recording studio and eventually witnessed Scarface come out of a session and heard Jay-Z’s vocals in the background. The song was so flawless and magnetic that it ignited his desire to embark on a music career.
